L.A.'s longest running comedy contest, Uncle Clyde’s gives local comedians the opportunity to perform a seven-minute set. At the end of the evening the audience votes for their favorites. A special sketch/improv or specialty act will perform at half time and during the vote tallying.

H2F Comedy Productions Inc. is seeking comedians for Uncle Clyde’s Comedy Contest, held every week on Wednesdays. Auditions are held in order of sign-up at 6:30 p.m. at the Ice House Annex. This contest features eight stand-up comics performing head-to-head in a battle of wits. Prepare three minutes of comedic material. If selected, comics will receive their performance date well in advance. All spots are pre-booked/advance bookings only. If chosen, comedians perform seven-minute set and the audience votes for their favorites. The first place winner will receive $101 cash prize and will be invited back for finals after eight weeks to compete for a week professional performance engagement at the Ice House Mailroom plus $500 cash.
